Deployment Diary: Don't Ask Me To Imagine My Husband's Death

What not to ask your friends with loved ones in the military.

Red Crossers, b/c we often work so closely with military members and military families, get it.

Deployment diary: Don't ask me to imagine my husband's death. Civilians don't get it.: "My doorbell rang recently, and since I was upstairs I peeked out of my bedroom window to see who was standing on the porch. Two men in khaki uniforms waited patiently, talking quietly to each other."
